Warning from the Treatment Practitioner:

Rushing phases or deliberately using high-energy treatment techniques when the skin is inflamed or has lost its lipid barrier can severely damage skin structure, causing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) or permanent depressed scars.

What can happen after treatment?

Skin cells after epidermal-barrier intervention always have natural biological responses. Select the skin symptom you are experiencing to see a science-based quick-response direction.

Burning redness / small white bumps after Laser or Peel

Cause & Home Management:

This is a positive micro-injury response combined with temporary increased sebum secretion because the outer barrier has become thinner. Increase application of intensive recovery products (Vitamin B5, HA, Centella gel), avoid sun exposure completely, and do not pick or squeeze with your hands. If tight redness lasts more than 5 days with significant swelling or large pustules, return to DIVA so the practitioner can provide calming blue LED support.

Temporary skin darkening after CO2 / Pico Laser / deep Peel

Cause & Home Management:

This may be temporary surface pigment oxidation as melanin is brought to the outer layer for removal, or it may result from insufficient sun protection. Clients must protect the skin carefully and apply broad-spectrum SPF50+ sunscreen. After 7–10 days, when tissue has stabilised, a gentle brightening serum containing Tranexamic Acid or Arbutin may be added as instructed.

Early peeling / red scab flaking after Peel

Cause & Home Management:

This is usually caused by a habit of picking or removing scabs too early, before the linked cells naturally shed. This exposes new skin to UV too early and can easily cause dark marks. Stop strong acid active ingredients completely, apply a thick moisturiser to restore the epidermal barrier, and wait for the skin to stabilise.

Persistent tiny acne bumps

Cause & Home Management:

This may result from temporary congestion at hair-follicle openings because cleansing was not sufficient after applying intensive recovery products. Cleanse with saline or a gentle cleanser, stop wearing makeup for at least the first 7 days, and keep the skin surface gently clear.

Expected Response (Normal)

Signs are fully within the expected process: mild pink-red skin, surface dryness and tightness, mild tingling during the first 48 hours, and fine dry scabs gradually shedding naturally.

Yellow

Need Monitoring

Signs requiring close attention: tiny acne bumps that do not reduce after 5 days, significant itchiness or burning after applying recovery moisturiser, or skin that becomes distinctly darker than before.

Red

Contact Immediately

Urgent condition requiring immediate contact with DIVA: intense burning redness that does not reduce after more than 7 days, blisters, rapidly spreading pustules, or severe sharp pain.
